Venerable Professor Samdhong Rinpoche was born in Jol, Eastern Tibet. At the age of 5, he was recognised as the reincarnation of the 4th Samdhong Rinpoche and enthroned in Gaden Dechenling Monastery at Jol. In the aftermath of the armed repression in Tibet, he escaped to India. From 1971-1988, he was the Principal of Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (CIHTS, Varanasi), also serving as the institute’s director post 1988 till 2001. After his special appointment by His Holiness as one of the members of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile, he was also elected as its Speaker. In 2001, he became the first democratically elected Kalon Tripa (Prime Minister), with 85% majority. He was re-elected in 2006.

Yogesh Mohanji Gupta is the Founder and Chairman of IIMT group of colleges, in Meerut and Gr. Noida. As an academician with over 3 decades of experience, he tirelessly works towards the all-round development of the under privileged. He was been bestowed with many awards like the Meerut Ratna Award (2000), Glory of India award (2009), Best Entrepreneur (2013). Currently he serves as the Vice Chairman of Federation of Association of Management of Unaided Professional Education Institutions of India.

Venerable Professor Geshe Ngwang Samten is currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor of the Central University for Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, Varanasi. He moved to India after the Chinese Occupation of Tibet, in 1959. His formative years were spent at the Central School for Tibetans in Chandgiri, Orissa. He went on to earn the title of ‘Shastri’ and “Acharya’ at the Central University for Tibetan Studies at Sarnath. His monastic education took place at the Gaden Shartse Mundgod, in Karnataka. He received the Geshe Dhorampa and the Geshe Lharampa, a degree equivalent to a Ph.D in the modern education system. Professor Samten has published, co-authored and translated many books in Philosophy. He regularly lectures students and academicians at both national and international platforms. In 2008, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the President of India for his unparalleled contribution and service in the field of education and literature.

Currently serving as the Director of the Inter University Accelerator Centre Professor Pandey has several accolades to his name. He was Director, Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies, University of Allahabad and the Vice Chancellor of Bundelkhand University from 2012 to 2015. He obtained his Masters (Physics, Mathematics) and D.Phil. Degree from the University of Allahabad. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Michigan Tech, USA. His research has focused on developing novel nonmaterial for various real life applications from LED, PDP, biomedical and diagnostics and a new fluorescent carbon material besides non-linear dynamics and surface modification using ion beams.

Dr. Alok Bajpai is a Psychiatrist and an ardent follower of Gandhian philosophy and a lover of Physics, Film, Music, Literature and Teaching. Dr. Bajpai completed his medical education from NIMHANS, Bangalore and then trained in psychiatry. He possesses a unique and international experience in the field of psychiatry, having worked as a Consultant in Australia and the Regency Hospital in Kanpur. Having established a unique ‘Child and Adolescent Mental Health Centre’ in Kanpur, he also conducts workshops across cities to generate awareness over childhood problems. He is also a consultant psychiatrist to IIT Kanpur. Dr Bajpai frequently writes about Psychiatry and Sexuality. His acumen is also visible in cinema, as has completed a film course from FTII, Pune and a Script writing course from Perth, Australia. He started ‘The Auteur’, a modular workshop introducing cinema at the school and college levels. He also explores linkages between his aesthetic sensibilities and his interests in Gandhian philosophy by holding a programme called ‘An hour with the Mahatma’ for schools and college students.

CA (Dr.) Ashish Agrawal currently holds the position of Treasurer at Ayurgyan Nyas. He practices as a CA (in Audit, Taxation, Company law matters and Management Consultancy). He is a member of many professional bodies like the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi and the Income Tax Bar Association, Meerut, etc. He is also associated with various Educational institutions and Charitable Societies and Trusts in the capacity of Honorary Chairman, Honorary Secretary, Treasurer etc. He has also written extensively on various subjects, authoring 8 books on Income tax and related affairs. His research papers have also been published in reputed Research Journals and magazines.

Ms Deepti Gulati currently serves as the General Secretary of AGN. She is also the General Secretary of the U.P. Science Centre and the Science Centre, Jhansi. She is a member of the Ethics committee and Anti-Ragging cell of MLB Medical College, Jhansi. As a social worker, she has been the Coordinator for Art of Living Bureau of Communication for Western UP, Board of Governors, NCSTC Network, member of the Core Group of Sujan Samooh- a Volunteer organization in Jhansi etc. She completed her Bachelors in Arts with English, Anthropology and Economics from the Awadh Girls Degree College, Lucknow along with a Diploma in Travel and Tourism and Computer Applications.

Ravi Bakshi is a life member of Kalayanam Karti and the treasurer of Antrarastrya Bharat Tibet Sayhog Samiti, Meerut. He graduated from Lucknow University in 1978.

Ms Anshu Sahi, M.Sc. Botany, M.Ed., Superannuated as the Principal of the Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. Currently, she is a Trustee and Member of the Managing Committee at Ayurgyan Nyas. She was also an active participant in the deliberations for the Development of Teachers’ Professional Development Guide “Call to Care”, which was organized by the Mind and Life Institute in Amherst University, USA. As an educator, her experience spans over 30 years where she has held various portfolios across the transaction process of education. She also works as an education consultant imparting In service and pre-service training to Teachers and Principals over scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas on issues like development of Universal Ethics, Classroom management and Differential instructions, Inclusive education etc.
